Personalized Yoga Practice – Independent, Targeted Practice

In the West, it is generally customary to teach and practice yoga in groups. Private lessons are still considered something special. Yet in the centuries-old tradition of yoga, practicing independently has always been the norm. Specifically, this refers to a personal practice developed in collaboration with a qualified yoga teacher.

Why have a personal yoga practice?

Not everyone wants the same thing from a yoga practice. The spectrum ranges from the need for physical exercise and learning to meditate, to the desire to stay healthy or complement a therapy, to concerns such as: better managing stress, sleeping soundly, finding mental peace, …

Very effective
A yoga practice is more effective when you do it more than once a week, on your own, and at your own pace.

It's all about your well-being
The focus is on the positive impact on the individual, not on mastering a specific technique or exercise. Every yoga exercise (physical, breathing, and mental) is adapted to the individual. Because every person is unique.


How do I find a private practice?


Together, we’ll develop a yoga practice tailored specifically to you. This will help us create a routine that you can practice regularly and that fits your daily life and goals. This process takes place over four to six sessions. You’ll take your personalized practice plan, complete with detailed instructions, home with you. It will help you continue your practice independently at home. A personal practice makes you independent of attending classes and can be practiced anywhere. 

Yoga can not only help you maintain your overall health, but also help you regain your health. Yoga therapy serves as a complementary practice and is being used by more and more people. Individual sessions can also be supplemented with shamanic energy work, rituals, or soul journeys. More on shamanic guidance below.

Group Yoga 

Yoga with Shamanic Elements

Wednesdays from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.   

Course location: DAO Center, Lustkandlgasse 53/1, 1090 Vienna    

Ongoing year-long course; enrollment is open at any time.

Cost:      Quarterly course fee is calculated based on the number of weeks
per 90-minute session EUR 20.

There are approximately 10 to 12 sessions per quarter.
Trial session: €15; Single session: €28   
Missed sessions (up to two) can be made up free of charge in the following quarter.

EFirst quarter (Jan. 8, 2025 – Mar. 26, 2025): 210 euros (10 sessions)
Second quarter (April 30, 2025 – July 3, 2025): €190 (9 sessions)

Shamanic guidance               

Shamanism holds that negative experiences, events (accidents, trauma, verbal and other forms of abuse, etc.), and illnesses are multifaceted. They affect us on physical, mental, and emotional levels and also leave their mark on the soul. These marks can heal on their own if the environment and one’s own actions support this process. If this support is lacking (for whatever reason), the person does not heal on all levels. This can manifest in various ways. For example, in chronic pain, persistent unhealthy behavior patterns, fear of the future, or a lack of self-love, to name just a few. 

The goal of shamanic guidance is to initiate the healing process at the soul level and thereby achieve comprehensive and lasting healing. We begin with soul journeys, during which we explore your concerns. Often, the focus is on reclaiming split-off parts of the soul. It may be necessary to harmonize your ancestral field, for example through a constellation. Other elements of the guidance include: working with the subtle energy field (aura and chakra treatment), rituals, and exercises to, for example, initiate the transformation of fears, wounds, and beliefs, or to strengthen your self-love. You can practice these exercises and rituals independently at home. If desired, the shamanic treatment can be combined with a yoga practice.  

As with yoga, I take a personalized approach with the goal of bringing about holistic, positive, and lasting change. The first session lasts about one and a half to two hours. Subsequent sessions last between one and two hours, depending on your needs.

I do not provide shamanic guidance or one-on-one yoga sessions for the following conditions or illnesses: 

  • In all forms of psychotic disorders, particularly schizophrenia, depression, hearing voices, delusions, etc.
  • For severe or acute anxiety disorders or panic attacks.
  • In cases of chronic, severe drug or alcohol addiction.
  • If you are taking psychiatric medications or sedatives.
  • In cases of suicide risk.

An individual yoga practice or shamanic session is intended to be complementary and in no way replaces a visit to a doctor or alternative practitioner, nor is it a substitute for necessary medical treatment. Under no circumstances should you stop taking your medication while receiving this guidance. A shamanic session or yoga practice cannot be used to make a medical diagnosis.
